Still Dealing With Ankle Pain That Won't Quit?

Most ankle sprains are undertreated — people are told to rest, wrap it, and hope for the best. The result? Chronic instability, re-injury, and months of lost activity that didn't have to happen.

The 'Just Walk It Off' Trap

You were told it would heal on its own. But weeks later your ankle still feels weak, unsteady, or stiff. Without rehab that rebuilds strength and proprioception, you're setting yourself up for the same injury all over again.

Generic Care That Misses the Point

Quick adjustments, one-size-fits-all stretches, or a few sessions of passive treatment don't address why your ankle gave out in the first place. Surface-level fixes lead to surface-level results.

Losing Ground on the Things You Love

Every week you're not fully recovered is another week away from your sport, your training, or just moving freely without fear. Ankle instability compounds — and the cost of inaction keeps growing.

Springfield's Ankle Sprain Specialists Who Treat the Cause

At 417 Performance, ankle sprain treatment near me shouldn't mean guesswork. We start with a 45–60 minute movement-based evaluation to understand exactly how your ankle failed and what it needs to truly recover. Every visit is one-on-one — a full hour with your provider, never rushed, never handed off. We combine hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, shockwave therapy, and progressive corrective exercise into a structured plan built around your body and your goals.

  • Comprehensive movement screen to find the root cause of your ankle instability — not just where it hurts
  • Hands-on treatments (dry needling, IASTM, joint mobilization) combined with strength and balance rehab in every session
  • A three-phase return-to-sport plan: Pain Relief → Building Resilience → Performance Care — so you come back stronger than before your injury
