HOW DO I SCHEDULE/ WHAT KIND OF APPOINTMENT DO I NEED?
For first time patients we require you to schedule an initial examination and treatment. After the initial exam you may schedule for our follow up treatments or Normatec recovery sessions. To schedule visit the link at the top of the page.
DO I NEED A DOCTORS REFERRAL OR PRESCRIPTION FOR AN APPOINTMENT?
Not at all. Chiropractors are direct access providers meaning we are your available portals of entry into the medical process.
HOW LONG IS THE TYPICAL TREATMENT?
With your first appointment it is important that get a clear understanding of you goals for care, what your medical and physical history are, and do a through examination. For this we ask you allot 45-60 mins for your first appointment.
Follow-up treatments are designed to get you the best out comes in the shortest amount of time. Depending on the condition and what stage we are in your recovery process we ask you allow between 30-60 mins for treatment.
I HAVE COMPLETED MY TREATMENT PROGRAM, WHAT'S NEXT?
Our patients love working with us! After completing your treatment program and feeling great, most clients continue with our Performance Care Membership that focuses on injury prevention, performance improvement, and overall wellness. Many choose this option to ensure they can continue to enjoy the sports, hobbies, and activities they love.
WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE?
We are a self-pay office, meaning we do not submit to insurance. We value consistency, so our prices are flat rates set to the visit type and remain the same regardless of the services provided.
We also offer options such as payment plans and our Performance Care Membership to make sure our services are accessible for all!
We chose this model for our office so we could have complete freedom to structure treatments however is best fit for the patient, without having to worry about inconsistencies or limitations within different insurance plans/coverages.
WHAT IF I DO HAVE INSURANCE?
Oftentimes our cash rates end up being very comparable, or even cheaper, than insurance rates, however it is understandable that if you have it anyway to would want to take advantage of those benefits.
For our patients who wish to sef-submit to their insurance, we happily provide them with a superbill, or an “insurance receipt” that, in conjunction with the Reimburify app, makes submitting to their insurance seamless and only takes a couple minutes of their time. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be able to get reimbursed for all or part of your visit or get the amount counted toward your deductible. Typical reimbursement rates fall in the 50-70% range depending on the policy.
We do accept HSA/FSA accounts if you have that built into your insurance plan.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO AN APPOINTMENT?
At 417 Performance we pride ourselves in providing active recovery, this means for your appointment it is best to wear comfortable clothing you are able to easily move in. Treatment plans involving the neck or shoulders are most efficient when the patient is wearing a tank top or wide necked shirt. For treatments involving the hips or lower limbs we recommend bringing a pair of running shorts with you for treatment.
